118th Derby Scouts comprises four main Sections:

• Beaver Scouts aged 6 to 8 years,
• Cub Scouts aged 8 to 10½ years,
• Scouts aged 10½ to 14 years

Once Scouts reach 14 they join an Explorers Troop. These are not part of the 118th Scout Group, but a local troop does hold meetings at our Group HQ.

• Explorers aged 14 to 18 years
