118th Derby Scouts continue their attendance at the annual Big Shoot competition, with entries from both Scouts and Leaders. A great day out was had by all competitors despite the poor weather for the archery rounds.
Congratulations to Nathan for winning a first place in the Advanced archery category, and a third place in the Advanced air rifles. Thanks also to James for turning out to represent the Section in both disciplines.

Well done to the Scout section who have become joint winners of the Foxwell trophy for 2014.
This competition is open to all Scouts in Derby and is an all-round test of scouting skills including first-aid, firelighting and pioneering. Congratulations to all Scouts who took part. This would be the final year of entry for some, and the first for others so we look forward to future years building on this strong performance
